Refund & Cancellation
At Delicious Home Bakery (DHB), we want our customers to have a pleasant shopping experience. Please read our cancellation, refund, and replacement policies carefully.
1. Custom Cake Cancellation Policy
- Within 1 hour: Custom Cake orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order without any cancellation charge.
- After 1 hour: A cancellation charge equal to 20% of the total order amount will be deducted, and the remaining eligible amount will be refunded.
2. Cake Replacement Policy
If you receive a cake with a quality issue or the wrong product, please contact us within 1 hour of delivery and share your order details and clear photographs of the issue.
Replacement requests will be reviewed by our team. Approval depends on verification of the issue and product availability.
3. Chocolate Replacement Policy
Eligible chocolate products may be requested for replacement within 3 days of delivery if they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Please contact us within this period and provide your order details and clear photographs of the product and packaging. Replacement requests are subject to verification and approval.
4. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, the eligible amount will be processed using the applicable payment method. The time taken for the refund to appear may depend on the payment provider.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Advance
Eligible COD orders require 20% advance payment, with the remaining 80% payable upon delivery. If an order is automatically cancelled under the applicable COD cancellation rules, the advance payment is non-refundable.
6. How to Request a Cancellation or Replacement
Please contact us with your order number, contact details, and a description of the issue. For damaged or incorrect products, include clear photographs to help us review your request.
